The Northern California Delta, is an expansive inland river delta and estuary in Northern California.” |
The Northern California Delta region supplies water to both Northern and Southern California. The Delta is 1000 miles of precious fresh waterways, that continue to be the heart of the water flow of California. The origins of the Delta, its re-engineering, its present day management, and its future, affect the vast majority of California’s population.
The “Delta Legacy” documentary project is an up close and personal look at the families that first settled around the Delta (in its original, natural state); and how those families, and others (with a little input from Mother Nature) re-modeled the Delta into its current configuration. The Delta Legacy project will share insights, understanding, and recommendations (presented by the actual architects and caretakers) in their own voices, about the Delta then and now. The Northern California Delta: The only water resource saving Central and Southern California from reverting to the deserts that they really are. |
